CHASE PAULSON achieved his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from California Baptist University, in Riverside, CA in 2009. In 2011 Chase completed his Master’s Degree in Athletic Training, also at California Baptist University. Chase received his certification from the Board of Certification, Inc. in June of 2011. Chase is beginning his sixth year at Diamond Bar where he not only serves as the school’s certified athletic trainer, but also as the Health Science Pathway instructor and Advisor for the DBHS HOSA – Future Health Professionals chapter. Chase is a CPR/first-aid instructor certified through EMS Safety Services. Chase has been certified as a Weigh Assessor for the CIF Southern Section since 2011.

Chase is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Far West Athletic Trainers’ Association (FWATA), and California Athletic Trainers’ Association (CATA). He has been an active participant on the CATA Governmental Affairs Committee’s Legislative Action Team since 2012, and joined the CATA Secondary Schools Committee in 2015. In 2014 Chase was selected to be a member of the CIF Southern Section Athletic Trainers Advisory Committee, and in 2015 was selected to assume the role of Head State Master Assessor for the CIF’s wrestling weight management program. Chase was selected as the NATA District 8 Chair of the Secondary Schools Committee in June 2016, where he represents all secondary school athletic trainers in California, Hawaii, and Nevada. Chase has also served on the Gatorade AT Taskforce for nutrition and hydration.

He is an approved Preceptor for the University of La Verne, Azusa Pacific University, Cal State Fullerton, and Chapman University’s Athletic Training Education Programs where he oversees athletic training students.

Mackenzie Steinberg

MACKENZIE STEINBERG grew up in Scandia, Minnesota, and currently resides in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Mackenzie has performed with various marching groups since high school, including Minnesota Brass Drum and Bugle Corps, Minnesota Brass Indoor, Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps, and RCC Indoor Percussion. He served as front ensemble section leader for both Blue Devils and RCC and completed an undefeated season with the Blue Devils in 2017.

Mackenzie has been on instructional staff at multiple high schools in both Southern California and Minnesota. His teaching experience includes Burnsville High School, Irondale High School, and Los Alamitos High School.

Mackenzie is currently pursuing a degree in Sociology from Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Cameron Campise

Carmon Campise

CAMERON CAMPISE is from League City, Texas. He currently attends Sam Houston State University, where he studies Criminal Justice, plays Horn, and is a member of various ensembles.

Carmon is a marching instructor at Klein Collins High School in Spring, Texas, and previously taught at Dickinson High School in Dickson, Texas.

Cameron performed the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps (2013) where he played trumpet, and was a mellophone performer with the Blue Knights (2014) and the Santa Clara Vanguard (2016-17).

After graduation, Cameron plans on pursuing Master’s Degree in criminology or a career as a Police Officer with the Houston Police Department or a Federal Agency. He also plans to continue teaching in order to give back to the activity that has given so much to him.

Ellen Chmura

ELLEN CHMURA is currently finishing her bachelors in music education with a concentration in French horn at the University of North Texas, where she will graduate in May 2018. During her time at UNT she has performed in the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, and Concert Orchestra.

Ellen has also worked with multiple bands in the DFW area including Flower Mound High School and Marcus High School. She performed on mellophone with the Phantom Regiment 2014-2016, and aged out with the Blue Devils in 2017, where she was a soloist.
