BRANDON AMARAL is a music educator in Southern California, joining the percussion staff at Pacific Crest for the first time in 2016.

Brandon currently teaches Dark Sky Percussion, Diamond Bar HS, and has been on staff with the Riverside City College Marching Tigers since 2013.  Past teaching experience also includes the Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps, Pacifica HS, and 2015 WGI World Class finalist POW Percussion.

Brandon performed with WGI World Champion RCC Indoor Percussion, toured with the Academy Drum and Bugle Corps and the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, and studied percussion under Dr. Matthew Altmire at Mt San Antonio College.

Currently, Brandon is completing a BS in Mathematics at California State University, San Bernardino.

Board Approves Brass Instrument Replacement

At its November meeting, the Pacific Crest Board of Directors authorized the purchase of 71 brass instruments. One exciting aspect of this decision is the move to the Jupiter XO Professional trumpet in 2016!

2015 Golf Tournament Raises the Most Ever

The 2015 Pacific Crest Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised $15,000 to fund Pacific Crest’s program and scholarships. This is the largest amount since the tournament began 12 years ago.
