ARMANDO LUIS DUENAS is the Band Director and Chair for the Visual and Performing Arts Department at Aquinas High School in San Bernardino, CA. He was born and raised in Baldwin Park, California, and now resides in the city of Azusa. Armando received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and a Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting from Azusa Pacific University, and is a proud alumnus of Pacific Crest, marching in 2007 and 2008. He then returned as Food Service Manager in 2014 and joined the brass staff in 2017.

Armando has worked with many different high schools throughout Southern California as a visual coordinator and a brass technician, including Rowland, Azusa, Chino Hills, Sierra Vista, Alta Loma, Monrovia, and Gladstone. He is also a freelance bass trombonist in the greater Los Angeles area having toured the country and performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, John F. Kennedy Center, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
