After graduating from Erath High School in Erath, Louisiana, TIM DARBONNE went on to march euphonium with the Blue Devils, aging out in 2007. He rejoined the Blue Devils as a visual instructor in 2011.

Tim is a highly sought after visual instructor and designer in the Southern United States.  He  has instructed award winning marching bands in Texas, including the Legacy High School Band, the Colleyville Heritage High School Band, and the BOA Grand National Finalist Richland High School Band. Prior to joining The Blue Devils visual staff in 2011, Tim was a visual instructor with The Academy, The Madison Scouts, and The Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps. In 2011 he was also the visual designer for the DCI Open Class Finalist Music City Drum and Bugle Corps from Nashville, Tennessee.

Tim resides in Lafayette, Louisiana and teaches at his alma mater, where he is the Program Coordinator/Drill Designer and the Visual Caption Head. He is an alumnus of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and enjoys meeting up with his local chapter to sing at every event possible.
