DALE LEAMAN has worked as arranger/composer/ brass instructor/consultant for many of the most successful instrumental music programs in California. His arrangements and compositions can be heard in a wide variety of venues for all levels of performer: instrumental & vocal, acoustic & electronic, field & concert hall, film & theater. He has taught instrumental music at all age levels from elementary school to college. As a performer, Dale was an original member of the Pacific Chamber Orchestra and the Pacific Symphony, as well as several local orchestras and musical theater companies.

Recently, Dale has focused on his interest in instructional technology and academic computing, and is now Project Coordinator for ASSIST, a joint project of the University of California, California State University, and The California Community Colleges. ASSIST is California’s official statewide database of postsecondary student transfer information.

As a co-founder of Pacific Crest, Dale has combined a love of "outdoor entertainment" with a commitment to community service.
