ANASTASIA EVEN hails from the great state of Texas, but has recently found a new home in Colorado. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Texas Woman’s University with her recognized instruments as piano and horn. She is now pursuing her Master of Music degree in Music Therapy at Colorado State University.

During her undergraduate years, Anastasia was a member of the University of North Texas Green Brigade Marching Band and had the privilege of being a member of two fine drum corps – Crossmen (2009, 2010) and Boston Crusaders (2011, 2012) where she aged out in 2012 on mellophone.

Anastasia has taught private horn lessons at several school districts in north Texas. She has also provided instruction as a music and visual tech at Melissa, Leonard, and Princeton High Schools’ marching bands. While teaching horn and marching band, Anastasia was the volunteer piano instructor at the Denton Juvenile Detention Center in Denton, Texas.

Anastasia and her husband, Rob, live in Fort Collins, Colorado where she is actively involved in CSU’s marching band and the elite, audition-only pep ensemble, Presidential Pep Band. After earning her Master of Music, she plans to continue onto a second Master’s degree in Music Education or a Doctoral Degree in Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University.
