JEFFERSON S. LEE is the Music Director & a Composer/Arranger, and MIDI programmer for the Mason Entertainment Group (MEG). Jeff’s involvement with MEG began as a percussion & electronics arranger/composer with the 1999 launch of the Tony and Emmy award winning theatrical show BLAST!. Following Blast’s London premier, Jeff was hired to compose new music for the show as well as become more involved in the overall musical design. In addition to Blast, Jeff has been involved with many other MEG products including Shockwave, CyberJam, & M.I.X. In 2003 Jeff moved from the San Francisco area of California to become the Music Director for the company. The Santa Clara Vanguard enlisted Jeff’s services as design team member & sound designer for the ’09 & ’10 seasons & in 2010 Jeff was appointed to the Sound Designer and Front Ensemble Supervisor positions of the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps.

Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Jeff completed his Master of Arts degree in percussion performance from the studio of Steven Schick (CSU, Fresno).  Jeff’s musical career has evolved from that of performer to band director to freelance arranger, composer, educator, & clinician. Jeff is proud of his 10 years of work as a percussion and brass arranger/composer for the Concord Blue Devils & his contributions to a numerous first place DCI full ensemble, I&E, & high percussion awards. Jeff has been a composer and arranger for many WGI color guards & percussion ensembles, DCI drum corps, universities, & high schools. Jeff has worked with groups such as The Woodlands, James Logan, Clovis West, Northview & Etiwanda high schools, Riverside Community College, as well as the Renaissance Vanguard, Yamato, & the Yokohama Scouts drum & bugle corps in Japan.
